This is where we will create conversations and facilitate connections, and where we will give our daily update on the point-standing of each of our districts. Essentially, this is your space to meet new people and access resources. This is also your space to seek information that will be critical to some games.

The 2021 AÉDSA Executive team is working hard to make sure that your 101 week is as fun and exciting as ever before! This year, your intro week will differ slightly from previous years as it will feature both virtual and in-person events. Consequently, we have decided to create a 101 week kit that is perfect for anyone, wherever you may be. While we are paying strict attention to the health guidelines of Ontario and of the University, we are looking forward to bringing you a ‘Frost week’ during the Winter Term! For now, read on to find out about your All-Access-Pass to your 2021 101 week. |
Do I hear exclusive kits?
We have made the decision this year that 101 week kits will not be necessary in order to attend any of our events, which means that there will be no cost associated with attendance. However, please note that you will be required to pick-up one of our free DSA t-shirts in front of Tabaret Hall on the University Campus between September 4th and 5th in order to participate in in-person events. Furthermore, we will offer the option to either receive your kit by mail (with a small shipping fee), or to pick up your kit in person on the uOttawa campus as a contactless pickup. If you choose to have your kit mailed to you, it will likely arrive 3-6 weeks after 101 week. If you choose the contactless pickup option, we will be in contact with you with information of pickup date, times, and location. The boxes that your kits will be shipped in are fully recyclable and made using water-based inks. The materials that the cardboard was made from is guaranteed minimum 60% post- consumer waste. Because of the economic burden of COVID-19, we have also elected to order your kit swag from local Ottawa businesses, which also contributes to cutting down on transportation emissions. Please note: Because of production and shipping delays, we may run out of stock of our kits. If you are planning on ordering, we suggest placing your order as soon as possible. If your plans of where you will be living this fall change, and you want to change how you receive your kit, please notify us no later than September 4, 2020. |

University of Ottawa COVID-19 vaccination policyIn response to the ongoing COVID pandemic and the growing number of cases recently surging, the University of Ottawa has announced that vaccination will be mandated for any student wishing to access the Campus as of September 7th.
However, students will be asked to testify of their vaccination status through the COVID-19 Vaccination Declaration online tool starting September 1st. As such, all students participating in in-person activities during the entirety of 101 week will be asked to provide proof of vaccination upon entering the site. If you have any questions or concerns, we strongly recommend that you reach out to the University for further guidance. |
