Welcome to the DVM Committee

Facebook
Like our virtual event space, we've built a page dedicated only to the DVMC, as a place where we can host our meetings and archive them for later. Here, you can find all the information you'll need about DMVC-specific events and meetings, and also where we'll drop a couple of resources from time to time to keep the community together.

Have an event that you want to pitch to get the DVMC to help you pull together? Email outreach@aedsa.ca to get in contact!

overview

Join the DVM Committee Facebook Community

This student committee commenced in Fall of 2010 as a club of the Student Federation of the University of Ottawa (SFUO). The committee later became a component of the Political, International and Development Studies Student Association (PIDSSA). After the dissolution of PIDSSA in 2014, it became a part of the new student association representing International Development and Globalization students

The DVM Student Committee aims to enhance the undergraduate student experience in the International Development and Globalization program while building community and getting students excited about global challenges.

The Committee has regular meetings and social events where students can suggest program improvements, discuss development-related topics, share experiences, plan events, and make new friends. If you want to get involved and meet other DVM students, plan DVM events and have the chance to shape the future of the DVM program, the DVM Student Committee is the best place to do it! Come and share your talents and ideas with us! Students of all years welcome!!

Contact the Director of DVM Committee and Director of Outreach and Student Engagement if you'd like to learn more or get involved with the DVM Committee: outreach@aedsa.ca
